Using iPads in Preschool

Today’s children are exposed to
technology from as early as their first year, quite unlike their parents and grandparents.

This 21st century, demands that all persons develop proficiency and fluency in the area of technology. Our young children should therefore be exposed to technology to develop this 21st century skill.

In many classrooms across the world, teachers are already using iPads to enhance teaching and learning.
They have recognized that a number of benefits can
be derived from using technology.

In early childhood education, once
developmentally appropriate applications are chosen, young children stand to benefit in numerous ways.

However, like everything else, technology has its pros

and cons.
